The Globe SP60 Planetary Mixer is a commercial stand mixer. The body is constructed of rigid cast iron material with enamel gray paint. Meanwhile, the bowl is made of stainless steel. It has the capacity to hold 60 quarts of ingredients. It also has a removable, interlocking bowl guard with a built-in, fully welded ingredient chute. This is designed for a secure and stable mixing. Additionally, it is equipped with a safety interlocked bowl lift. This shuts down the mixer when the bowl is lowered for the safety of the user. Moreover, it stands on non-slip rubber feet for a safe operation. Its standard accessories and attachment include a stainless-steel wire whip, aluminum flat beater, and aluminum spiral dough hook.

For ease of use and access, the Globe SP60 Planetary Mixer is designed with front-mounted touch pad controls. It comes with a 60-minute digital timer for easy monitoring. It also has a last-batch recall function, which is useful when working with multiple batches. To accommodate to various ingredients, it has three (3) fixed speeds. It has agitator speeds of 73, 120, and 267 RPMs. Meanwhile, it has attachment speeds of 49, 82, and 181 RPMs. It also runs on three (3) horsepower custom-built motor for a durable and long-lasting performance. It features a gear-driven, high-torque transmission. It is also made with heat-treated hardened steel alloy gears and shafts. Furthermore, it has thermal overload protection to prevent the motor from overloading and overheating. For a smooth operation, it is permanently lubricated.
